Set Up Your Trailer With Etrack

Have you ever seen that cable television show, "Pimp My Ride"? In the show, ordinary people are given the opportunity to have their low-end (alright, "beaten up" is more appropriate) vehicles completely revamped and set for style. Interiors are gutted, paint is removed, engines are torn out. In the end owners are given their car but with a whole new look. The interiors are often extreme, with special flip-down televisions and lounge-style seating. Sometimes there are even aquariums!

The effect is a bit over the top, but if you're accustomed to doing without then the impractical (especially free impractical) may not be that bad. What might happen if a version of the show was available for truck drivers? What a boon it would be to long haulers to have special amenities built right in.

There are other, more practical ways to improve a trucker's ride and livelihood. One of them is etrack. Etrack is a flexible cargo securment system which allows users to choose multiple points of tie down. Made of heavy gauge steel, etrack is available in either powder coat finish or galvanized steel. Etrack may be purchased in 2', 5',8' or 10' sections and placed either on the walls of a trailer or on the floor if automobiles, motorcycles or ATVs are the intended cargo.

While the product may not have the mass sex appeal as a sparkly new paint job or built-in refrigerator, its practicality may please owners just as much. Efficiencies in time will be realized because of fewer diversions moving loads around to find a specific order. Also, the system makes it safer for drivers and fellow drivers on the road as well, since the system will keep loads from shifting in bad weather or road conditions.

Etrack: When You Don't Want Things to Keep on Rolling

With the season of recreation well upon us, the call of the wild travels into our office cubicles. Born to be wild...Rolling down the highway...the melodies are played in our heads as we restlessly prepare that last financial report before heading out for a weekend warrior adventure. But what kind of adventure are you looking for? Sometimes "rolling" is exactly what we want to avoid which is why you should consider using etrack to secure your wheels during transport.

You may be hauling a motorcycle, dune buggy, ATV or other wheeled toy. And while you can't wait to spin those tires on the surface when you reach your destination, you don't want them rolling around in your trailer as you go down the highway. The best way to avoid this is by attaching an etrack to the floor of your trailer.

Use the tracks as guides to roll your wheels onto. Since these are lightweight, you can decide the spacing that best suits your vehicles. If you ever buy a different vehicle, or add more to your collection, you can easily at more etracks to your trailer to best accommodate your transport needs.

Once the etrack is in place and you have the vehicle loaded simple use a tire strap and proper brackets to hold the tire in place. These are all easily connected to the track, are generally inexpensive, and will ease your mind while you are hauling your vehicles so you pay attention to the road ahead of you rather than worry about what's bouncing around in the bed of your truck or trailer.

So while you may be anxious to get rolling and kick up some dust, take the time to install an etrack system in your truck bed or trailer. It's a very simple and safe way to get you going so you can howl at the moon and answer the call of the wild.
